Waste Watch runs training workshops for anyone who wants to learn, and communicate with others, about sustainability issues.
We offer a range of one day and half-day bespoke workshops and training events for local authority staff, teachers, community leaders and professionals working in the sustainability sector.
Our workshop and training sessions are designed to meet your identified and specific training needs.

Community Engagement
Providing you with the practical tools you need to help you deliver tailored messages that engage with different audiences and bring about behaviour change. Learn about:
- Behaviour change, value change and social marketing
- Skills, knowledge and capacity building
- Targeting different audiences and using volunteers
- Planning events and avoiding common pitfalls
- Monitoring and evaluating success
We also run training to support recycling service changes and other local campaigns for:
- waste and recycling collection crews;
- reuse and recycling centre staff;
- street scene staff and enforcement officers; and
- doorstepping teams.
