Education Services

We can help improve teaching and pupils’ learning experiences around sustainability.

Our education services are aimed at developing and applying good practice. We focus on two main areas; professional development and curriculum development.

Professional development

We provide training for:

professionals getting started in waste education
experienced teachers who want to learn more about peer education
teachers and staff who are interested in building whole school approaches to improving the school’s environmental performance.

Curriculum development

We have worked with a range of government organisations, NGOs and private companies to develop curriculum materials for Key Stages 1 to 4.

Our current work uses an action learning approach, which guides pupils through action projects of their own design as a central aspect of the learning experience.

We also build schemes of work and lesson plans that deliver the national curriculum’s environmental and sustainable development topics in creative and engaging ways.
