Become a Community Recycling Champion!
London Boroughs of Barking & Dagenham, Havering, Newham and Redbridge
The Recycle for your Community (RFYC) project is a campaign to increase recycling participation and minimise household waste in the London Boroughs of Barking & Dagenham, Havering, Newham and Redbridge. The RFYC team deliver an outreach programme informing, educating and inspiring local residents to waste less and recycle more - and needs volunteers to help us run recycling and waste minimisation road shows!
Are you talkative and enthusiastic about green issues? Could you spare a few hours a month to help out?
Join a group of like-minded fellow residents championing recycling and waste reduction in your area – attend community events with the team, take part in providing valuable information to the public and make a real difference!
No previous volunteering or events experience necessary, all training is provided. Lunch and travel expenses are reimbursed, and other benefits include regular socials and ongoing skills training opportunities. We ask for a commitment of assisting at one event per month, for a minimum of three months.
