Aim:
You will learn the practical skills and tools that you need to deliver a food waste champion programme, which will enable community leaders and volunteers to run food waste reduction activities in their local area
Suitable for:
People with a sustainability, recycling or education role who want to expand the impact of their Food Waste Minimisation programme by training community leaders, volunteers and householders to become food waste champions.
Learning outcomes:
- how to run activities, games and training sessions; and
- how to deliver and devise your own food champions programme.
Contents:
- food waste champions and what they can achieve;
- 'Train the Trainer' tools and interactive activities;
- how to tailor your message to your audience;
- how to avoid common pitfalls; and
- monitoring and evaluating the success of your programme.
