Brand new Waste Watch

11 June 2007

To mark 20 years in waste education, communications and research, Waste Watch is unveiling a bold new look at this year’s CIWM conference.

Our radical image overhaul follows a particularly successful year for Waste Watch and signals the organisation’s growing confidence and strong vision for the future.

The old orange and brown colours have been replaced with modern, vibrant purples and the familiar dotted logo ditched for a truly iconic globe image in the form of a scrunched-up paper ball. Through the inspirational tagline, ‘Change the world around you’, Waste Watch calls on people to live and work more sustainably, and to reduce their own impact on the planet.

We have developed a smart new website to make it easier for visitors to find out about the services we offer and how to get help communicating around sustainable resource use. You can also sign up for our e-newsletter to stay up-to-date with the latest Waste Watch news.

Sam Jarvis, Head of Communications, said: “Our new corporate identity is eye-catching and entirely appropriate for us – it symbolises the challenges we all face in trying to be less wasteful and less dependent on the world’s natural resources. It captures perfectly who we are and what we’re about as an organisation.”

The re-branding exercise was undertaken by Tonic, a top digital design agency, who kindly agreed to support Waste Watch by working on the project at cost.

The new branding has been well received by staff and clients – let us know what you think by emailing us at info@wastewatch.org.uk
