You will learn the practical tools you need to deliver tailored community outreach projects, so you can engage with different audiences and bring about behaviour change.
Suitable for:
People with a sustainability, recycling or education role who are ready to take their face-to-face community engagement to the next level.

- how to run activities, games and discussions to engage the public; and
- how to deliver and devise your own outreach programmes.

The day covers:
- what community outreach is and what it can achieve;
- tools and interactive activities;
- how to tailor your message to your audience;
- how to avoiding common pitfalls; and
- monitoring and evaluating the success of your programme.
