Early bird tickets for the Alternative Waste Treatment Technologies Conference
4 April 2008
Responding to the drive to recycle bio waste, Materials Recycling Week (MRW) is organising the Anaerobic Digestion & Alternative Waste Treatment Technologies Conference on 22 May 2008.
The Waste Strategy 2007 states that the Government wishes to encourage local authorities and businesses to consider using anaerobic digestion to manage bio waste as it has 'significant environmental benefits over other options for food waste and may be particularly cost effective'.
The annual forum at The Barbican Centre is aimed at local authorities, waste management and recycling companies, large scale community composting firms, and recycling or composting equipment manufacturers and suppliers.
You will get the chance to learn from leading case study examples, assess the merits and the issues of using anaerobic digestion, get advice on how to communicate and engage with the public - from strategy inception to site completion - and use the conference to network with people from across the industry sector.
