Research

Waste Watch research has informed national policy and advanced sustainable waste and resource management in the UK.

In 1999 we commissioned the first UK-wide survey of public attitudes to waste which shaped the development of future national and local awareness campaigns.

Since then, we've worked on a variety of influential research projects focussed on environmental behaviour change, including studies on:

  • community-based environmental projects;
  • waste prevention initiatives;
  • recycling and food waste schemes; and
  • communication approaches for different audiences.

We deliver research projects on any scale and can draw on a team of experienced survey staff. If required, we can work in partnership with academic institutions and other research consultancies.

Whether you're aiming to influence the environmental behaviour of your suppliers and customers or assess the outcomes of an environmental initiative, Waste Watch research can help.
