Sustainability Project Intern

Salary: Travel and lunch expenses will be paid (up to a certain amount)

Time scale: This is a part time or full time post, minimum 3 days per week for a minimum of 2 months.

An exciting opportunity in one of the country’s leading environmental charities to take a leading role in the delivery of a new and innovative project.

This post provides an excellent opportunity for candidates with an interest in sustainable resource use and/or the health sector. The successful intern with support will make a real difference and gain practical experience working on an exciting new project related to engaging NHS facilities to become more sustainable. This will include improving technical solutions and engaging with staff and patients to facilitate sustainable working practices in a hospital.

Waste Watch is looking for an engaging and enthusiastic intern to join its Community Engagement Team for 2-6 months to work on this project.

This post involves working with the Community Engagement team to develop, deliver and report on the project. 

The post provides an excellent opportunity to gain skills and experience, possibly with a view to future employment in the environmental sector and/or community engagement.
